Developed by the New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research hop breeding program and released in 2012, Waimea's lineage includes Californian Late Cluster, Saaz and Fuggle. Waimea is a big hop for big beers and can be used across an array of styles in a variety of brewhouse and dry hopping applications.
