Reflex™ is a phosphate-free peracetic acid and nitric acid-based microbiocide developed for food, dairy, and beverage processing and filtration equipment. With regular use, Reflex™ will prevent the formation of milkstone, beerstone, and limescale deposits. It is primarily used on stainless steel and plastic materials.
Characteristics
- No-rinse sanitizer
- Reduces CIP process times and reduces water and cycle times
- Passes the AOAC Sanitizer Test by reducing 99.999% of target microorganisms within 30 seconds
- Contains no phosphates
- Peroxygen chemistry leaves no residues
- Nitric acid becomes nitrate in wastewater
- For land-applied discharges, the nitric component reverts to available nitrogen to support plant growth
